This is a petition to get Smiley Central off the web. If you dont know why, then read on
They do not like to admit it, but Smiley Central, Cursor Mania etc are all spyware. They slowly destroy your computer and make it run very slow. I know people who have downloaded it, including me, and had to reformat because of the damaging effects. If you are running smiley central I urge you to remove it. It is spyware and has absolutely no use to anyone. It needs to be destroyed. That is why I have made this petition. I have sent countless emails to the makers of smiley central and they still have not taken any notice.
When you install Smiley Central, notice you have to click Yes to install? That is so you cannot take legal action. Spyware takes advantage of the people who click Yes or I agree to a program they have downloaded or are about to download without reading the T&C. In the Smiley Central T&C it states YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT IN NO EVENT WILL LICENSOR OR ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR EMPLOYEES, DISTRIBUTORS, SUPPLIERS, MERCHANT PARTNERS, ADVERTISERS, DIRECTORS OR AGENTS (EACH A "PROTECTED PARTY", COLLECTIVELY, "PROTECTED PARTIES") BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES which means that they will not be responsible for the damage it will cause your computer. Since you clicked I agree then you are locked in the contract and cannot take legal action. This is common with most spyware.
If you, or someone you know has been effected by this piece of garbage program then please sign this petition. We do not want those vandals to destroy anyone elses computer. This is our only hope left.
