Speed bumps down Tawari Street, Matamata before the speeders kill a child

The increase in fast cars speeding, overtaking and driving irresponsibly as well as doing burn outs and figure 8's down a residential street such as Tawari Street in Matamata are going to get a child killed and/or property damaged. Speed bumps, or any other idea to stop people flying down this road and driving with such a lack of care would assist in the safety of the residents and people passing by.
