We are talking about a college pitcher here...he is very heady. I think his biggest issue out of the box was that he thought too much on the mound. He learned to trust his stuff and was put in position to succeed in the bullpen and came thru in many clutc

How long would it take for Heilman to stretch himself out so he could go 5 innings? If they were serious about making him a starter, they should have placed him winter ball and he could have extended himself.

Aaron has proven he can get major league hitters out consistently, which is why he has become so valuable in the bullpen. There should be no reason why he would not as a starter, and since the Mets are establishing this 5 or 6 innings for a starter anyway
