Stop Anime Music Video's Demise

In the following of another atempt by record labels to stop the downloading of illegal material floating on the internet. A record label has ordered a cease and desist letter to animemusicvideos.org. Animemusicvideos.org is a non-profit site that exists because of the donations from people who use it to host AMV's (Music Video's of Anime with tunes from major artists) In my personal opinon, the companies who own this material or tunes are not loosing any money nor is it hurting their companies. AMV's are highly thought upon on both sides of the world, not just for personal use but also for conventional awards, projects and so forth. In fear of a new face of harsh reality of fees,lawsuits and maybe the destruction of AMV's and conventional AMV activites worldwide, this petition is to save the artistic and fullfilling nature that is creating and boardcasting AMV's on websites, conventions, school projects/presentations and home use.
