Hello, fellow fond customers of the marvelous cd,dvd and book retailer Fopp. Sadly as of recent news it has come to the depressing point that probably the best and ceapest and best stocked, the only place in the country which i have seen all pink floyd albums in one place other than that big virgin in london, is closing down. Famous for bargains and in the case of the Camden and the larger stores, for hosting great up-and-coming mini-gigs for bands such as the Long Blondes and Franz Ferdinand. It has supplied me and my friends wit h music for some years. Now there is a group of people who would do anything to aid the store in staying open. These efforts include a myspace site dedicated to helping the cause, and now i with aid from my friend Louis Eads have set up this petition which i hope if we have a substancial number of names shall be handed to the board of directors on a future given date. Help us help your beloved Fopp and give us ur name.

Fopp was my favourite store - the prices were good, the selection was great and our Byres Road branch was so much more personal and friendly than the larger HMV and Virgin stores. They must be re-opened!
