PLEASE HELP STOP MYSPACE FROM DELETING BAND PROFILES
We need to prevent myspace's lack of regard in deleting bands/artists profiles who work hard to promote themselves on myspace.
Every band, artist, and individual out there who is trying to promote themselves knows not only how hard the task is but also once you achieve that you have to maintain and sustain your momentum.
Not only does time go into developing and customizing a profile but also in networking with people, socializing with people, and sending out friend requests. So how much does it SUCK to be deleted after hours, days, months of hard work?! It turns out Myspace, at their own whim, haphazardly deletes profiles when there is a certain amount of activity.
Having that said, here's the opening line to myspace's Terms & Policies
MySpace.com is a social networking service that allows Members to create unique personal profiles online in order to find and communicate with old and new friends.
Their wonton lack of regard is a direct contradiction to the purpose of a social network. This is not a petition against Myspace but against a Myspace behavior that has proved to be way out of control!

This is stupidity from myspace.. They should be deleting the profiles that are not in use only the ones that are in use are the ones being deleted. I have an old account that was hacked and I dont have the password for it and no one has been on it for abo

I've been accused of being a bot when my avvount was phished and it sucks. Myspace should do more to protect it's patrons, not eliminate them.
