I agree that the festival is no longer about community, my 15 year old son and his friends tried to go last year but not only did they not have the $20 to get in they were shocked at how crowded it had become. Make it go away and give us back our neighbor

It's hardly worth the hassle anymore. Last year I obtained a 'courtesy' pass a few days before the fair (I live a block away), only to be told on Sunday morning - by the belligerent security staff - that 'the organizers' had decided not to honor the pass
