In recent months, Verizon Wireless has instituted a ban on pornographic images or text as well as anything that portrays drug or alcohol use in a positive light. We believe that this is a threath to democracy, not because porn and drug jokes are a civil right, but because this will set a precedent that private industry, particularly communication industry, can apply draconion sets of rules about what is freedom of speech and not.
