Students Against HawkTalk

Hello,

My name is Samuel Njoku. I am a student that attends the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. To best explain the situation, it would be better if i tell you what Hawk Talk is about. Rave-Campus Connect is partnered with Sprint in order to reach their product out to students attending the University. What attracts students into using this service is the ability of students to receive this product at a bargain price & have the ability to pay for this service through the tuition and fees of the University. Students would only be in charge of taxes and miscellaneous fees. Now on to the problem. It has come to the attention of students across campus that the University and Hawk Talk are taking advantage of the situation.

There have been reports that as many as 150 students are without service at this time. Sprint has little to no idea that this service is even offered. The means in which this service is offered is foreign to them. The truth is, that even though the school is taking money from the students in order to pay Sprint, the University is withholding the money for reasons beyond anyones understanding. And even when the transaction between school and company is complete, problems with the service continue. Charges that Hawk Talk is unable to explained has appeared on EVERY Hawk Talk customers account.

This petition is signed by the students of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. It is a testament to the outrage that has spread across campus. They believe that the injustice that has plagued our campus is an outrage. They believe that its something that shouldn't be taken lightly. And they believe that they can do something about it. And it starts here. We ask that you hold a meeting with ALL OF THE OF HAWKTALK and explain what exactly is going on. But our demands don't stop there. We also ask that you rectify the situation IMMEDIATELY!!! Thank You for your time and God Bless.
