Terminator Technology poses significant risks for farmers and indigenous peoples worldwide
Terminator Technology also poses a potential biosafety risk
188 countries have signed the UN Convention of Biological Diversitys de facto moratorium on their use
Canada, although it has ratified the ban, continues to undermine it and to lobby in support of seed companies interests
The undersigned request that the government of Canada end its campaign to undermine the de facto moratorium on Terminator Technology. Instead, we ask that the government show support and commitment to farmers and indigenous peoples, in Canada and around the world, who provide us with the food that we need.
