The Staten Island skatepark was a long time in the making, when it was finally built and opened we couldnt be any happier with it. Although once we had encountered some of the staff, many of us were highly disappointed. Our problem is not with all of the staff, but only one in particular. Leslie is the only reason most of us do not enjoy being there. She is constantly yelling and talks down to the patrons of the park as if we were children. Her latest outbreak was simply unacceptable in which she kicked everyone out of the skatepark due to one person who had accidentally cursed. Not only did she kick everyone out who had nothing to do with this one person, but she also closed the skatepark an hour early. Leslie then proceeded to call the police, then called her husband and threatened one of the young patrons with physical harm from her husband.
After that day we realized that our skatepark should not be run by someone who is going to treat young adults as if they were infants; and someone who has no knowledge of any of the sports that are done on the premises. This problem needs to be rectified immediately and a new staff member must be hired (specifically one with knowledge of the sports, and one without a dislike of youthful sport enthusiasts)
