We, the devoted fans of Mami, sign this petition in an effort to convince headwriter Hogan and the rest of the writing team at DOOL that Max Brady and Mimi Lockhart have what it takes to become one of DOOL next super couple. The actors both have amazing chemistry together, and also both actors never got to show there true potential as actors due to bad material.



We, thank Hogan for testing out this amazing pairing, because it gave Darin a storyline he can actually have a chance to shine in, unlike his recent pairings with his nieces. Once Hogan took over as headwriter, he stated that he was going to test out a triangle between Abby/Max/Mimi. When us fans heard about that some of us didnt really think we would like Max and Mimi together, but as time went on and there scenes got cuter and cuter, are opinions changed, we started to see that the actors really clicked with each other.



We, fans know that Abby has a crush on Max, but she isnt the first, look at for instance Hope, she had a major crush on Roman, and he didnt even give her the time of day. When the writers made her realize that what she felt for Roman was nothing but a crush, she then started falling for Bo Brady, and look how popular they turned out to be. Also another example was Belle Black she had a crush on Brandon Walker, and the writers turned her in another direction, towards Shawn Brady look how popular they became. This goes to show you that not everybody that has crushs on someone should certainly be together.



As far as people saying that Max and Abby should be together, because they are Brady/Horton, so lots of couples became popular that werent Brady/Horton pairings like, Steve and Kayla (Johnson/Brady), John and Marlena (Black/Evans), Jack and Jennifer (Deveraux/Horton). This goes to show that not everybody has to be a Brady/Horton to be popular, besides there are already two Brady/Horton Couples, for example, Bo/Hope, Sami/Lucas even though he his part Roberts, and now Nick/Chelsea. We think that couples should be mixed with different families, because realistically no one is constantly paired with the same two families.



We also think that the Lockharts deserve to be happy. For instance, Patrick liked Jennifer, but she loved Jack, then he also loved Hope, but she loved Bo, Mimi loved Rex and Shawn, but she blew it with Rex, and she never really had Shawns full heart. We believe that the Lockharts should be happy, if not Patrick, since he is departing, at least Mimi and Conner.



We also couldnt help but notice, in there recent scenes when they were locked up in the church basement, that them arguing and joking around reminded us of Lucas and Sami and their comedic side, and also Jack and Jennifer, when they would be working on a story and get leads to a place they would be kidnapped and they would have to find their way out, the sparks would fly whether they were fighting or joking around.



We, also think Max and Mimi bring out the best in each other, because Mimi doesnt feel like she has to lie anymore, its like with him she has no insecurities, unlike Shawn and Rex. Also Max doesnt feel like he needs to prove himself to her, like he did when he was with Chelsea, he can be himself around her and shes okay with it. We also believe that Mimi has been in enough relationships to say that the third time should be a charm, because how many time is she going to screw up a relationship, before it becomes ridicules.



We, also think that they could have some storylines together involving their past, like for instance, you could bring her father to town because shes never met him before, and all she knows about him is what her mother tells her, it would be good to hear his side of the story, and seeing how he abandoned her before she even knew him that could also bring up some tough times for Max seeing how he was abused by his father and how he had to leave his home and fend for himself, just like when Mimis dad abandoned her and she had to fend for herself with her brother Conner and Bonnie who didnt barely help one bit so you dont really count her. Max was taken in along with Frankie first by Steve and Kayla, and then the Bradys Just like when Mimi was poor and the Wesleys took her in for a while. She always had insecurities, that they never fully explained why she had them, it would be great to know why, maybe something from her past.



When she had the abortion the Writers never really made her go through the emotional fallout of it. It would be great for her to go in a depressive state over aborting the baby and how she also miscarried a baby, and how hard it must have been for her to give away her third child, and Max would have to help her get through it.



We, also think that Abby is to immature for Max, because she is just starting in the dating world (if you dont count Josh) and she needs to be with someone more her own age not someone who is way past her maturity, and who would want to be with a guy who doesnt put her first beyond all else. We think that Max and Mimi Are in the perfect Maturity level for each other so we hope you give them time to become one of daytimes biggest super couples.



We, thank you for bringing back the Mimi we all grew to love before James Reilly took over. We hope when your deciding which couple you want as endgame you choose Max and Mimi
