UK government should honour its ECHR obligations

We call upon Her Britannic Majesty's Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to implement its European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms obligations by ensuring that:





1. Every UK resident can get access to appropriate medical care;


2. Every UK resident at risk of losing his liberty can get access to legal representation.





We refer to Mr Thomas Moore of 1 Pares Land Walk, Rochdale OL16 5SX, Great Britain, who has had his access to the breathing aids he needs blocked since August 2000, documented on web page at address http://medicineblocked.tommoore.be/ and is being sent to prison for complaining about harassment, with his access to all legal services blocked, as documented on page http://www.sarahbranson.com/harassment/aug04/default.htm of the London High Court Claim HQ05X00419.





Mr Moore says he was sent to prison again in High Court Claim HQ 05 X02 574, which includes an injunction restraining him from publishing any Court documents.





By allowing this to happen to any UK resident, Her Britannic Majesty's Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is in clear breach of European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Article 2 (the right to life) and Article 6 (the right to a fair and public hearing).
