Congratulations on your victory, and good luck on your term in office. Obama sir, since the latest war in Iraq, the Assyrians, Catholic Chaldeans, and Orthodox Syriacs have been oppressed without any attention from democratic nations who promote world peace. It is for this reason, that we the undersigned, honoring the rich cultural ties that bring us together, respectfully-request with one voice, a Nineveh Plains administrative unit to allow for regional self government under the central Iraqi government. This action if taken may decrease Islamic Fundamentalism and possibly make Iraq more democratic as a result. Please do not allow the cries of the Ninevites to go on any longer.
