Whereas the petition to prevent vehicular access to Palomino farms from the Tabas tract and Metro development of Valley square was successful, we citizens hereby petition the Developers and Warrington township to provide walking and bicycling access at Stallion rd.
The stipulation agreement did not say pedestrian access should be denied.
The requests of a few should not preclude the benefits of the path for the whole community.
A small walking path would allow future generations of homeowners to enjoy the benefits of being in a walkable community.
Otherwise anyone along nearby Palomino Drive and beyond would have to drive down to Street road to access all of the new shopping restaurants, condominium and businesses that are in and around Valley square. By having access to Valley square, one also has access to LA fitness, Lowes, and other community businesses and services along Paul Valley road and Street and Easton roads.
Lets decrease dependence on foreign oil, and promote more exercise and a healthier community with a small connector path while construction is ongoing, or as soon as possible.
Warrington township Board of supervisors, we ask you now to step up and do what is right for the community immediately by building a path. This can be a simple extension of the condominiums or a separate path.
Give us an option to having to drive everywhere. Help us all work with developers to have a more walkable, healthy, interesting and connected community.
By signing, or forwarding to the township, we support this pathway, and ask you to act to make it happen.
If you agree with this, let me know. I will set up the petition and we can canvass the neighborhood for names and addresses like we did for the previous petition.

I was under the assumption that they were going to put a path thru. The ability to walk to a shopping area would make up for the increased traffic the shops would bring to the area.

Not only is walking/biking good exercise, but it allows one to cut down on the use of gasoline. We need to encourgae walking and biking whenever it is possible.
