Work and Income are denying you your entitlements.

Winz has a very big issue at present and unfortunately it does not want to acknowledge it as it is a huge cost to the government.

Back in 2006 Winz created Working for Families and along side that they bought in Temporary Additional support (TAS). This was to replace Special Benefit and therefore saving the government millions of dollars every year but at the expense of the most vulnerable in our country.

When the computer program was set up it automatically deducted $20.50 from anyone that applied for extra help due to hardship. The amount of $20.50 goes up every year so at present it stands at $23.81. 

Under the Regulations that were written for TAS it shows essentiol Items that can be covered by this additonal help but due to the deduction no one will receive this help. 

Anyone that needs help with their accommodation costs instantly get a loading against it of $23.81 which of course puts your rent or morgage up by $23.81 per week 

This petition is to get the government to fix the computer program so that it is in line with the Regulations.
