Xbox 360 Headset

I recently purchased an Xbox 360 that has the Xbox Live headset included. I was looking forward to an improvement in the headset from the original but the headset included is inferior to all other headsets out there. This new headset is probably the worst accessory delivered on any console for the past 10-15 years:
1. Its over-the-top, instead of around-the-back, and causes pain. The one ear pieces goes on one ear, then you've got this stick that presses into the temple on the other side of your head. It feels like the headset was designed for a 3 year old.
2. The wire from the adapter to the headset is very light, springy and cheap looking and is always getting in the way because it wont lay flat.
3. The microphone doesn't go down far enough. It sits there in your field of vision, reminding you how much you hate to use the headset.
4. It sounds HORRIBLE. I went from the clear deep sound of my friends in my ear from the original Xbox Live headset to a tinny staticy offense muffled jabbing into my head.
It's so bad that I've plugged in my old Xbox Live headset direct into the controller, leaving me without any volume or mute controls (since those are now built into the cable). So now even with my old Xbox Live headset, everyone is very loud.
I loathe to buy 3rd party accessories (I've never liked them), but now I'm forced to. I seriously hope someone steps up to the plate and gives me a comfortable headset I can wear and hear out of clearly. I was so much happier with the original headset.
Things like this will keep people from embracing Xbox Live!
Your product does not deliver what was promised. Therefore we believe you should be held responsible, and recall all the inferior headsets. One way to resolve this would be for you to exchange all headsets for the old Xbox Live headset and incorporate it into the Xbox 360 adapter. Send us new thoroughly tested and properly working headsets. We are also open to other options to resolve the problem. Please reply as soon as possible.
