01. As the second largest state of gambling in the nation, the state of New Jersey has continued to enact the law of being 21 to participate in gambling in casinos. However when it comes down to the state lottery, the state finds the age of eighteen old enough to partake in. Why is that the case? Because the state gets a large chunk of the proceeds, no where close to the little they make on the casinos. So if an eighteen year old feels the need to blow their pay check in a casino then let them, their able to do it at a 7-11 in state lottery tickets. And an even better aspect to the decreasing of the gambling age to 18 in the state of New Jersey is that there will be an increase in the economy in Atlantic City, NJ.
