24/7 air cover for Orange County

We are demanding that we have OCFA helicopters be available 24/7 to help protect Orange County, LA County already has 24/7 coverage in place. At present we only have air cover during the day. In an emergency, the 3 pilots that are trained to fly these helicopters would take at least 2 hours to be activated. Helicopter crews save lives, reach places which are unattainable easily by ground crews, and contain fires until the main fire crew can reach the area (This happened two weeks ago in Yorba Linda. The pilots were able to stop the fire spreading and save houses, and COST, Yorba Linda was lucky, just 4 minutes later and they would have been off duty)!
Why can't we have this 24/7 cover now, with several fires already this season, OCFA needs to prioritize and change their policy NOW
