A Call For Accountability

We the people of the United States of America do come together in unity, to petition our duly elected government officials regarding the following issues:

1. Since the horrendous events that took place on September 11, 2001, information has come to light regarding potential failures of our various investigative agencies in properly carrying out their official duty in protecting the American people from attack directed at the citizens of this country. We express our will that these failures be thoroughly investigated to determine the extent of said failures, and to also determine if there was any complicity involved in these events.

2. Should any failure/complicity be determined to have occurred,we further express our will that those involved shall be disciplined and/or prosecuted to the full extent of the law, with no exceptions.

3. It is also our concern that the steps taken in the name of "National Security" have begun to threaten the very liberties for which we stand and which we are supposed to be protecting. We the people do NOT wish to become the aggressors around the world. In addition, we the people express grave concern at the extreme potential for abuses against the citizens of this country in the name of "National Security". We therefore officially lodge our protest against the extreme measures being taken against our Constitutional liberties, and reject ANY policy that will infringe upon our Bill of Rights. We respectfully ask that any policy which infringes upon our liberties be immediately struck down.

4. Should these reasonable requests be denied, we are prepared to consider going forth with a demand for an emergency election, to remove those from office who would deny the rights of the American people as guaranteed in our system of government. The United States of America was founded on these principles of freedom, and we the people have been entrusted with ensuring these liberties for our future generations. We take this trust very seriously, and shall do what is necessary to guarantee that this nation, forged in the fires of Revolution against tyranny, shall not perish from the earth, and the liberties bought with the blood of our forefathers shall survive.
