We the undersigned agree that the newly formed College of Marketing and Economics (CME) needs to incorporate a greater focus on ethics -- specifically human rights and corporate responsibility issues -- into their curricula.
Moreover, we feel that ethics needs to be a central part of curricular concerns campus-wide so that the University of Guelph can live up to the vision that it has described for itself "to be Canada's leader in creating, transmitting and applying knowledge to improve the social, cultural and economic quality of life of people in Canada and around the world." (www.uoguelph.ca).
