This is a petition to keep gays and pedophiles out of the Boy Scouts, and free of corruption. In this free country, where institutions like the Boy Scouts of America are private organizations, the Scouts are free to let in whom ever they choose. If the Scouts were a public organization, drawing from public funds this would be a different story, but its not.
Having been a Scout myself, and understanding the great moral values it instilled in me, I just cannot envision them sending those defenseless boys out into the woods with pedophiles. I just hope the Scouts arent loosing heart over all this demonizing of their group. If you agree that attacks on the Boy Scouts of America are unwarranted, and should remain a wholesome safe haven for our boys, this a chance to voice your opinion:
