Amina Lawal has been sentenced to death by stoning, solely on the basis of allegations of adultery. Despite widespread condemnation both inside and outside Nigeria, and despite assurances given by your government that the sentence will not be carried out, Amina Lawal continues to live under sentence of death by stoning.
