An Honest Government For B.C.

Another black eye for British Columbia. Our Premier Gordon Cambell was arrested in Hawaii in January for drunk driving.Gordon Campbell got into a vehicle falling-down drunk (he had a roadside test reading of .161; 90 minutes later it was .149) and drove a dark, very winding road. He was speeding (113 kmph in a 72 kmph zone) and weaving all over the highway. The arresting cops say he staggered, slurred his speech and reeked of alcohol. He's incredibly lucky he didn't kill someone.
Question, Is it different when an elected official is caught in a criminal act that when Joe Citizen is caught committing the same crime?
I believe that if we look deep into our hearts the answer is NO!
What he did cannot be excused and his actions speak of two underlying TRAITS of this Premier.
(1) That the law of the land is invalid.
(2) That a politician of his ranking can ignore the law.
The man made a decision and his actions speak volumes to the public. They say I know what YOUR law is , it's just not MY law !
So if this man does not respect the law of the land , what else does he ignore and even disdain? Are there other indiscretions and incidents that we are unaware of?
The public awareness of serious infractions such as drunk driving are somewhat lenient in North America as opposed to an offender in Japan where an infraction would be dealt with severely.
How severely? How about you lose your job right now? How about being relieved of any journeyman or professional trade licenses and being blacklisted from the trade!
OK so we have an elected official that due to public support is seated in one of the Thirteen highest political offices in Canada , setting a prime model for the present and future people of British Columbia and the rest of Canada.
Gordon Campbell has had his time on TV and while he asked for forgiveness , he never showed that he acknowledged the magnitude of his actions.
The man made a choice and showed what he is made of , his past and present actions have proved him to be a liar a bully and a drunk who has no regard for his province and even less regard and respect for the laws of other lands which link hand in hand with ours.
This political parasite will not DO THE RIGHT THING and resign. Unfortunately his party does not have the collective balls to OUST HIM.
Therefore I call upon the PEOPLE OF BRITISH COLUMBIA to sign the following petition and DEMAND THE RESIGNATION of B.C. Premier Gordon Cambell from all political office.

This man and his timetable is systematically raping what is left of this province and leaving in it's wake a barebones healthcare system that has been cut back to the point that NOT ONLY senior care facilities are closing and Hospitals closing but people out there are DYING FASTER because of the B.C Liberals. Not only has he continually lied about tax increases , this man is selling off OUR ASSETS to private companys !
Who paid for and own's the COKE? The highway was paid for YEARS AGO but tolls have still been collected. WHY?
Let's get some caring and human government in B.C.
Please help and sign to get rid of this criminal and arrogant blight on a province renowned for it's fairness of both land and people.
Therefore We the undersigned people of British Columbia and or Citizens of Canada in other regions , have found your actions both illegal and intolerable for an elected Premier of a Province. We the undersigned demand that you resign from office and instruct your successor to heed the wishes of the peoples of British Columbia .
