An Immediate End of Hostilities and the Restoration of Non Violent Means

We, the members of the Euro-Mediterranean Youth Parliament, and citizens of European and Mediterranean Countries:

Observing the current deteriorating situation on the ground in Gaza, Palestine

Reaffirming our role and responsibility as concerned human beings and citizens of the Southern Mediterranean Countries

Pursuant to international laws against terrorism and international human rights

Reaffirming the importance of a non-violent solution for the current crisis:

Condemn the current war being launched against Gaza and the killings of innocent Palestinian civilians

Condemn the ongoing launching of rockets from Gaza killing innocent Israeli civilians in the south of Israel

Condemn the uprising war of words and tension between the Palestinian and Israeli side

Call for an immediate ceasefire and cessation of hostilities from both sides.

Call upon Israeli leaders to end the ongoing siege on Gaza.

Call upon world leaders to end the political and economic sanctions on Palestine

Call for an immediate round of negotiations between the Palestinian and the Israeli side to resolve the conflict in the troubled region.
