Appeal Nicole Miles ZTA Membership Termination

Hello!
Im creating this petition because I am appealing a decision by our judicial board and I/O. On April 20th I had a judicial hearing for a status update that involved alcohol. When I was originally contacted by our Risk chair I removed the status within 30 minutes. For those of you who are aware of our crooked crown policy, you are given supposed to be given 24hours to remove the inappropriate content before judicial actions are taken place. I was also being disrespectful because I did not choose to add Delia Lewis Hundley. In my eyes it is a violation of my privacy to add a face book account that multiple users can have access too, such as advisors, or anyone else. Its also nowhere in our bylaws, and think of everyone else who has posted inappropriate information, does everyone deserve to have their membership terminated based on FB? If someone had an issue with my content they could see it on their account, and let me know about it. Why do they need an account to tell me I cant post certain content? They have a personal account, and we should all keep each other accountable whether your on EC or not. Since I refused to add this account, my mediation was changed to a hearing. I tried talking to our Risk Chair so that we could be adults and work things out on our own, but she refused to talk to me in person/online/texting/calling. If you really believe in our sisterhood and believe that justice should exist in it, please sign this petition. If you think we should be able to talk to EC members about issues they have with us, and make them responsible to respond instead of just pushing off our problems to judicial, sign this petition. I did not voluntarily terminate my membership; apparently this rumor has been swirling around. NOT TRUE. My membership was taken away from me because I posted a status update that was removed. If you actually believe in sisterhood and uniting for a sister, please sign this.
I have contributed to this chapter for the past 2 years. I have held membership on PC, as well as EC. I dont just show up to events, I participate! Greek Week, sports, cheering on our teams, taking everything to storage for Fall 10 recruitment, being there for every sister whenever they need me! I hold above a 3.0, Im involved in other campus activities, and I work. I am very active, and I love this chapter. Thats why Im fighting to be here, Im fighting for what I believe in. It should not be acceptable to treat certain members this way, but then give special treatment to others. Im tired of the hypocrisy and lies. Obviously if everyone is always talking about everything they hate and all the issues within the chapter to each other, there is a problem. Lets be proactive, and address the issues! Zeta Tau Alpha is supposed to be for life and this is a test to see if we can unite for a sister in need instead of uniting for an award or prize. We should be concerned about our members; we shouldnt just throw them away. I love all of you so much, even those people who felt that terminating my membership was the right thing. I have never done any harm to this chapter, or its members. I am devoted, and Im fighting for whats right. Do not be afraid to sign this petition, again if you ever believe in sisterhood and always supporting your sisters you would sign this! If you have any other questions PLEASE CONTACT ME.
