Asking the DISD Board to Reconsider its Policy of a 0\% Pay Raise

I support public education, teachers and school employees. While financial times are tough, the budget priority must be retaining quality teachers. It is unacceptable to me that DISD professional and support employees will receive a 0\% pay raise this year, the first time in DISDs history.

I petition the DISD Board of Education, Dr. Lois Parrott, President, to reconsider its actions, thereby providing a 2.5\% cost of living increase, and reinstatement of the full $250 stipend for teacher school supplies.
