I am sure you are aware of the fact that you show favoritism when it comes to *N Sync and the Backstreet Boys. I can understand if you like *N Sync more, thats finebut as a professional station, you are not suppose to show it! And yet, we the fans, can pick up on the negative vibes MTV has towards BSB. Its fairly obvious. MTV is a respected and loved cable channel, but if you keep up with the current blatant bias against the Backstreet Boys, you are headed downhill. The Backstreet Boys fans make up a large number of your viewers, all over the world. And if you think we are so stupid and oblivious that we can not tell the differences in the way you treat the two groups and their fans, you are dead wrong. After all, we are the Backstreet Boys fans. Enough said. You owe a great deal to the Backstreet Boys, I suggest you show it. In 1997, they brought in a whole new generation of MTV viewers that made MTV and shows such as MTV Live then, and TRL now, what they are today. I have a list of examples and grievances that prove youre partiality for *N Sync. Once you review the names of those who sign this petition, and our list of objections, we hope that you consider concealing your love for *N Sync a little better. I know that with the release of the BSBs third album, Black and Blue, you will try to cover your bias with heavy promotions. However, no matter how great a job you do with making sure the faces of the Backstreet Boys are seen, and their music heard, we still know who you favor. Its your job to make sure we dont.
