Further to the recent extended power outages on the 138kv line feeding the District of Stewart, it is clear that BC Hydro could island the circuit from Stewart to Meziadin using the Long Lake Hydro facility which we believe can run the Branch line in the event of another outage on the 138kv line
We the community of Stewart are requesting that BC Hydro provide the service to the District so that we are not faced with the hardship and heavy costs involved when extended outages occur.
