I am extremely disappointed that you have decided to leave James Beattie, of Southampton FC, out of the England senior squad for the forthcoming England matches. He is the top English scorer, and I believe that he should have been included in the squad, over the likes of Jeffers, Rooney and Vassell. He has scored 20 Premiership goals this season (as of 24/3/03), compared to Owen with 13, Vassell with 7, Heskey with 5, Rooney with 4 and Jeffers with 2.
