Best Possible Teachers for 9XP

9XP has been accelerated one year, academically, ahead of other pupils attending Ravens wood School. Two years will be spent taking the GCSE course, and at the end, if satisfactory grades are not achieved, the course must be performed all over again.

One would assume that with something of such importance, it would be essential that XP is provided the best possible opportunities. This would mean the best teachers, the best equipment, the most dedication and time.

One could argue that XP is no more important than other students who attend RWS, and that would be a reasonable argument, however, one can not deny that there is a significant number of pupils' futures at stake here, slightly more so than other students, who are taking the normal course. While other students can do the course, if failed, redo it at college, XP would have to redo the entire course, exactly the same, all over again, in Year 11.

XP was brought on as a "guinea pig" group, promised to be correctly handled, and provided with the best possible opportunities, to achieve the best students possibly could. The idea of the group was to give students broader opportunities. This can not be said to be true.

9XP has been timetabled, on the school year commencing on Wednesday the 31st of August, to be taught Physics by Ms. Hopkins, Chemistry by Mr. Mason, and Biology by Ms. Ballam. By looking at results and the work achieved, both in examinations and coursework, it is evident that Dr. Haeusler is far better suited to teach XP. The teaching style is also important, and the results of this petition will show whether Dr. Haeusler's teaching style is preferred by XP. Also, it can be said with confidence that XP would agree that Mr. Mason is unsuitable to teach XP. Comments regarding this will be left to the signatories to make themselves in the comment fields.

Possible alternatives depend on the individual, alternative teachers could be suggested in the comments field also.

No offence is directed at any teachers, or anyone at all through this petition, it is simply XP expressing their opinions, and invoking their right to the opportunities they deserve.
