Brian Moore Should Be Made Chief Executive of The England Rugby Football Union

English rugby is in turmoil and the RFU are a laughing stock the world over. The internal bickering and chaos at RFU has filtered down the ranks to the squad and it appears there is total discord and disent. The only person in my view with any dignity and credibility is the man who vacated his position last week, Martin Johnson. Whilst a caretaker manager has been appointed it is futile appointing a permanent successor until the board of the RFU resigns and order is brought to this organisation. How can the richest rugby union in the world hope to mount a credible defence of the 6 Nations trophy let alone make a strong challenge to wrestle the title of world champions from New Zealand in 2015, whilst this farce is allowed to continue. There has already been a petition for the removal of Rob Andrew, well now I call upon the English Rugby fraternity to call for former England International Brian Moore to stand for Chief Executive of the RFU. The RFU needs a dramatic overhaul and needs to be steered by a persion with a strong vision and passion for English rugby, and the desire, tenacity, and eloquence to ensure that he succeeds.
