Bearded childrens author Philip Ardagh has been banned from Facebook for so called abuse. His 'crimes' consist of wishing people Happy Birthday and Happy Silver Wedding as well as over use by being friendly with his friendswell we want him back and have donned beards in protest of his unfair blacklisting! Facebook please replace robots that can not read in context, with genuine people who can tell abuse from sociability and Facebook, please, Bring Back Beardy!

Dear Sirs, I have been to talks by Philip Ardagh, and if I'd had a beard then I'd have laughed it off. His prescence on Facebook is sadly missed by his friends, mutual to me, and he is certainly not likely to ever be abusive.

Please bring Philip back - he is a lovely and much respected and eminent children's author and not a Facebook pest! His updates liven up our day and bring us joy and happiness, not misery and woe. Facebook needs more Philips, not fewer!
