This is the second year that Strictly Come Dancing's results show has been broadcast on a Sunday evening. After reading the BBC shows message board throughout the last series and reading today after the opening episode it is crystal clear that fans have not responded well to the new format.
The anticipation and excitement over the result is lost with a 24hour wait and the results are leaked all over the internet within hours of the results being filmed. So I suspect many fans do not even bother tuning in on a Sunday.
The results are filmed around 9pm on Saturday evening, SCD is such a popular show that it and it's fans deserve the tension and excitement that comes with a live results show.
Judging the strength of feeling from the fans on the shows message board I feel you are in great danger of losing many fans and falling viewing figures.
Please reconsider and bring back the live results show we all know and love and bring back the highlights show on a Sunday instead.
