TO THE NATIONAL CAPITAL COMMISSION OTTAWA (NCC) Over the last 15-20 years your choices of performances for Canada Day noon and evening shows have been absolutely and outright embarrassing. We Canadians below order the NCC Ottawa to stop with the genre of performances and return to the celebrations that were experienced in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. The World Renowned Canadian Artists that performed on Canada Day Noon and Evening shows were Canadians such as David Foster, Bryan Adams, Anne Muarry, Jan Harden, John McDermot, Rita MacNeil, Roch Voisine, and so many more and satelite message from Céline Dion. Bring back the Royal Canadian Air Force Band, or RCMP Band. The Atlantic provinces definitely have awesome entertaining good down home music. Why are they not asked to perform? Stop with this shitty type of shows. These artists know how to get the crowd moving and into the music. The only respectable performance for Canada Day 2011 was Great Big Sea. They got the crowd hyped, into the music even to the point that Prince William could not stay in his seat and had to get up and move to the music. Excuses of cannot get them, not available is crap.
