We, Burmese media professionals in exile and inside BURMA, editors, publishers, operators, writers, journalists, artists, poets, photographers, internet bloggers and media related persons here by stand together in solidarity to express our united support of the struggle for freedom of expression, press and religion in BURMA.
We wholeheartedly stand together with the Buddhist monks of their Religious Boycott to the SPDC (Burmese Military Regime) and We strongly condemned the brutal crackdown on the monks, social/ political/ students activists and all the Burmese people joining the peaceful protest of the monks.
We also express our support to the Burmese media professionals and artist inside Burma who are now struggling for freedom of press and expression.
We strongly call for the TOTAL MEDIA BOYCOTT to the Myanmar military junta by all the Burmese media professionals and artist inside and outside BURMA.
We will support by all means to all the banned, imprisoned and tortured media professionals and artists of Burma under the name of freedom of PRESS & EXPRESSION.
We call this solitary commitment to this statement as to -
"STOP THE PRESS RUN BY SPDC".
We here by undersigned here whole heartedly and in unity to call for this - Media Boycott to the Burmese Regime in Burma and its Network.
