Dear Public Officials:

San Francisco's Sustainability Plan and the City's General Plan call for
Open Space Standards for every neighborhood in the City. Then the Tenderloin, with its 1.29 acres of open space, falls well short of the 7.8 acres per 1,000 residents as mandated by the San Francisco Sustainability Plan and the Citys General Plan. The Tenderloin's 30,000 residents require a minimum of 234acres. Please sign this petition and support the movement to halt all development on the remaining open lots in the Tenderloin and support their conversion to open space.

Facts
Current Open Space in the Tenderloin:
.97 acres at Father Alfred E. Boeddeker Park Jones @ Eddy
.21 acres at Sgt. John Macaulay Park Larkin @ O'Farrell
.11 acres at Turk/Hyde Mini Park Turk @ Hyde

Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
