Since its illegal occupation of Palestine and against all moral and humanitarian ethics and international laws , Israel has established a state that governs by force the Palestinian people despite their will and seeking for independance , freedom and justice on their ancestors'land . Every day , the Israeli army is undignifying,humiliating,harassing,torturing,arresting,killing ,judging innoccent Palestinian civilians , inflicting curfews and transforming many living areas into concentration camps worse than the Nazis' .
In April 2002, the Israeli army arrested Marwan Al Barghouti and Abdel Rahim Mallouh , two popular Palestinian political leaders , who joined the 10,000 other Palestinian and Arab political prisonners in Israeli jails .
All these prisonners are subject to solitary confinement , interrogation, torture, threats against their lives and their families' and immoral mistreatments in the Israeli jails and concentration camps , in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention that protects civilians under a state of war .
Arresting and torturing Palestinian and Arab political prisonners in addition to incarcerating them in Israeli detention centers without charges or due process , all constitute clear violations of International law and fundamental human rights .
Some of these prisonners were charged with no fair trials under Israeli legislation that discriminates between Jews and non-Jews .
We , the undersigned , condemn Israel's illegal arrest , torture and detention of Marwan Al Barghouti , Abdel Rahim Mallouh and other Palestinian and Arab political prisonners in Israeli jails and demand their immediate and unconditionnal release from Israeli captivity .
