Child Support Reformation

What we want to know is the true cost of raising children, and where the child support money goes each month it is given to the custodial parent.

To begin, the custodial parent of a child would still have to pay rent, utilities, insurance; purchase grocerys and would have other expenses regardless of being a single without children or a single with children.

The courts and system often say they are looking after the best interest of the child or children. That interest can be question when the non-custodial parent is paying so much child support the they can not afford to live in a safe area, provide adequate living space for the children during their visitation, or even transport the children because they either can not afford a vehicle, or obtain one that runs properly.

Child support is mandatory to pay, but never audited or monitored. How does one truly know their money is really going for the support of their children? The simple, honest truth is that you dont and our states and our federal government have no way of knowing. Currently their only duty is enforcing that child support be paid and nothing more.

There are so many cases of financial child neglect and abuse. Parents who spend their childrens support money on frivolous items for themselves. They purchase items for their boyfriend/girlfriend, by drugs or go out drinking. Not to mentions the countless other unknown purchases that occurbecause again, no one, absolutely no one is monitoring where the child support money goes.

Child Support in the United States is in serious need of reformation. It needs reformation for the children, and the countless families and lives that are injured by our current laws and regulations. Raise your voice and let our government, court and legal systems know that as Americans, we believe in the well being of our children. If we are mandated to pay child support, we should have the RIGHT to know where it is going and what it is being spent on. After all, someone had to work for that money and had to make the sacrifice that comes from being without it each month!
