We the undersigned concerned citizens;
1. RECOGNIZE: A gross inequality in the coverage of the Iraqi War.
2. CONCERNED: That such misrepresentation of the war situation is detrimental to the morale of the citizens of the United States and the world.
3. UNDERSTAND: That the broadcast media is in constant pursuit of higher ratings.
4. RESOLVE: To pledge support* to any media outlet who in turn resolves to present a balanced and complete** picture of the Iraqi War.
*Support shall be understood to mean supported by viewership, readership, or listenership at any time where the undersigned would normally be subject to media information.
**balanced and complete is to mean that no; facts, stories, or reports, shall be; overlooked, omitted, or distorted in the interest of portraying a negative or positve image of the conflict.
