Crystal Palace Football Club Ticket Prices

Following the release of the ticket prices for the Liverpool game in this years Carling Cup I wish to start a petition to hand in to the appropriate people at Selhurst. We do not spend 30 supporting our club over two matches in this Cup to A) Watch the reserve team struggle against other teams and B) To have the prices increased 100\% just because we have been drawn against a 'bigger' club. I really don't care that they are European Champions. This is the 3rd round of a cup that most 'bigger' clubs have regarded as a pointless competition over the years. With so much media attention focused on the Premierships HIGH prices and LOW attendances I think its time we brought attention to this clubs same problem. We have had 5000 or so fans to each of the previous rounds these fans have paid 15 pound a game for what is essentially a reserve fixture but we didn't complain then we accepted it, The Administration at Selhurst failed to realise it was because of these factors that attendances were so low for the two previous games. Why, at least, cant they reward those who made the trip to the previous games with an increased discount for this game. I know many didn't make it because it was a week night and for them the thought of parting with 30 regardless where you sit for this game will equally hurt. This is not just about this particular game but the price of tickets in general this season have been just as bad. Surely they can tell Moral is low by the lack of atmosphere on Saturday against Preston the crowd was silent throughout the first half and that was only raised when Preston where reduced to 9 men. If the club want to us to get behind the team the club should first get behind the fans. We don't owe them a thing, they owe us if it wasn't for us this club exist in the same capacity as it does now.
