To NBC and Sony Pictures, we the undersigned demand the firing of James E. Reilly as head writer of Days of Our Lives. We feel Mr. Reilly has not only turned DOOL into a spin-off of his show Passions, but has also made it the laughing stock of daytime TV. We feel that NBC and Sony Pictures has lost all respect for family morals and values by allowing and encouraging James E. Reilly to kill off long-time, beloved, major characters, in often gory and degrading ways. We want our old soap back! By ignoring our wishes, the fans will have no other option than to boycott NBC and all its sponsors.

This show is a complete joke right now, and although I haven't watched for very long (started in the summer of 2001), I feel terrible for those fans who've been watching for years. The writing is a disgrace to the FANS, characters and actors.
