On February 16th (2012) at 3pm, many students in DCU once again faced time delays in accessing their examination results due to the immense number of student’s accessing the DCU website.
DCU Young Fine Gael (YFG) are seeking to scrap the current system whereby all students receive their examination results at the same time; a system which has done nothing but fail students repeatedly over previous years and cause damage to the University’s reputation.
DCU YFG are calling on the support of fellow students for the immediate consideration of a new system, preferably whereby students will receive their examination results at a time specific to their faculty with other faculties receiving their results at differing times throughout a specific date. This will ease the pressure upon the network and prevent delays in students obtaining their exam results which has been tolerated by previous Student Unions and the University itself for far too long.
We ask you to sign this petition in support of this stance and call on Class Rep Council to liaise immediately with ISS to seek an urgent change in the system for the delivery of all future examination results to DCU students.
