Debit/credit card misuse.

Stop letting them control your money. This petition is against convenience stores and the practices they are allowed to follow concerning credit and debit cards. I would like everyone to realize just how insane it is to allow convenience stores to hold money on your account simply for making a purchase. It is for this very reason that I start this petition. It should be a crime for convenience stores and gas stations to be allowed to do this. It would be the same as going to Wal-mart or your favorite fast food chain and having an amount equal to five, six or even seven times larger then your purchase taken from your wallet for several days simply because you made the choice to give your money to them rather then a competitor. I beg for all to sign this cause it truly effects everyone of us at one time or another.
