Demand that Paypal and ThePlanet.com Stop Providing Services to Hate Sites

Paypal is the premier online company for transferring funds.

Paypal has a page devoted their Offensive Materials Policy

which includes the following sections:

PayPal will judiciously disallow organizations that promote or glorify hatred, violence, or racial intolerance (such as the KKK, Nazis, neo-Nazis, and Aryan Nation), from using PayPal to accept payments. Furthermore, such organizations may not be listed in PayPal Shops, nor may any website listed in PayPal Shops advertise or support such organizations.

PayPal may also, in its discretion and out of respect for the families of murder victims, prohibit the use of PayPal to sell items closely associated with individuals notorious for committing murderous acts within the last 100 years, such as personal belongings of criminals, letters or artwork created by such criminals, or novelty items that bear the name or image of the criminal.

For over two months I have been trying to get Paypal to stop collecting money on behalf of a site promoting religious intolerance, http://www.thewatcherfiles.com. I have also sent a letter directly to Ms. Margaret Whitman, CEO of Paypals corporate parent, EBAY Inc. Despite my many complaints, Paypal continues to accept money on behalf of the watcherfiles, and Ms. Whitman could not be bothered with the courtesy of a reply.

Among the anti-semitic slurs on thewatcherfiles, are the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and The Blood Libel. Students of anti-semitism need no introduction to these slanders, which have cost the lives of countless Jews.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a hundred year old plus forgery, was a primary piece of Nazi propaganda, and in fact was incorporated into Hitlers Mein Kampf . The Blood Libel has been the cause of countless Jewish deaths for almost a millenium. The Nazi periodical, Der Stьrmer, often published special issues devoted to allegations of ritual murder by Jews. Both of these racial slanders have been thoroughly discredited many times over.

In my last email and call to Paypal, I asked them What will it take to get you to sever ties with thewatcherfiles? I told them that if they did not take action within a week, I would do everything I could to expose their tolerance of religious hatred. More than a week has now passed, and Paypal continues to collect money on behalf of thewatcherfiles.

into thinking Paypal is actually serious about severing relations with thewatcherfiles. That boilerplate was in response to my first contact with Paypal on March 9th, when I complained about thewatcherfiles page called Talmud Tidbits. As the above link says, Paypal backed down, and even allowed thewatcherfiles to taunt Paypal, with thewatcherfiles claiming that you can buy pornography with Paypal (another violation of the Paypal acceptable use policy).

Please join with me in demanding that Paypal and EBAY enforce Paypals stated policies. There is no question that thewatcherfiles promotes religious intolerance, and members of my family did die within the last 100 years due to the Nazis vigorously promoting these two slanders, which can be purchased on CD from thewatcherfiles.com.

There is far more than enough reason for Paypal to stop acting as financier for thewatcherfiles and any other website that meets their own criteria for offensive material.

Theplanet.com acts provides web hosting services to thewatcherfiles.com, without which thewatcherfiles could not spread their hate on the web. With the nature of thewatcherfiles.com site now clear, demand that theplanet.com stop hosting this site and all the other hate sites owned by Sherry Shriner.
