Do Not Ban The Use Of The Fence In MMA

This is a petition to keep the octagon in it's form as a fence in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Recently, complaints have come to light that the fence is unfair. This is geared toward fighters pinning their opposition againt the fence and beating them senseless, even though there are multiple ways for a fighter to train to stay off and away from the fence. These include: Circling out, not backpedaling until they are in the fence, and using offensive techniques to keep their opponent from controlling where the fight goes.

It is the opinion of all who have signed this petition that the use of the fence does equate to a fair or entertaining fight. There is much technique involved in 'fence-fighting', and in our opinion, it looks good for the sport when an opponent is completely neutralized and dominated by a superior athlete in this respect.

Zuffa is free to act on this petition in any way the feel fit, as long as the fence is still a viable factor in the fights.
