Dog Park

The Town of Wytheville is wanting to ban pets from the local parks, and cemeteries. The town is going to have a meeting on Tuesday May 29 at 7 pm. The town is only allowing 3 meetings before it goes into effect. The date it is to go into effective is June 1. There will be a Class 4 misdemeanor to anyone that is caught violating the new law. The town is wanting to do this because of some careless pet owners that will not clean up after their pets. What about the responsible pet owners? I understand the reasoning behind it but if they are going to do it then I think that the Town of Wytheville should give all pet owners a place to take their pet. Dog park would be very nice. This petition is for the Town of Wytheville to give the pet owners somewhere to go since they are taking away the parks, cemeteries, and all town owned property. I believe that would only be fair. My pet is a family member.how would you like for someone to tell you that your family member was not allow somewhere?
