We believe that:
- The Natural Science Library at Swansea University is a valuable tool to students, providing not just books, but extra study space and equipment.
- There is not enough space in the main Library to accommodate the extra burden on resources.
- A 24 Hour request for a book will cause problems for those students affected.
- The plans to close the NSL are ill-thought out and little justification has been given for the decision, and that proper consultation is needed.
- Students have a right to the best quality facilities that can be provided for them, and that by closing the NSL, the University is deliberately not providing these facilities.
