Dont Exterminate Pit Bulls

This is about California legislation being passed to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could be on it's way to anywhere. Someone has to try to make a difference...what if it were your pet?

There are no bad dogs, only bad owners. They are unaware of the responsibility it takes to raise these animals. They are certainly not the worst dogs, cocker spaniels produce more dog bites each year but pit bulls simply have more notoriety. If you want to cut down on pitbull attacks, regulate them. If someone wants a pitbull, make them take a class, make them get a license. Come on, these are serious animals, not every fool should be allowed to handle them. Make it so you have to get a license to own or raise dogs like pitbulls, ciaos, or rottweilers, and these kind of incidents will virtually disappear. It's time to stop shifting blame here, America. The dogs are not the problem, it's the reckless people raising them.
