On october 6, 2006 Wendi Marie Ciavarella was killed by a repeat offending drunk driver. The driver Michael J. Behanna who was borrowing a car from a doctor(Dr. Dustman) of ohio who loaned the car to Behanna, who's licence was suspended at the time.Imagine how it would feel knowing that when a loved one left home, that they may never come back.That's exactly what the entire ciavarella family came to know as a sad reality.Please help us and your own loved one's by supporting tougher drunk driving laws in the state of Ohio.Mr. Behanna was a repeat drunk driver and has no licence. I hope you never have to face a tragedy like this in your family."Wendi's Law" is a law that our family is trying to get passed in ohio. Putting tougher penalties on first time drunk drivers, first time offenders would receive a year in jail. Then and only then would people think about drinking and driving, because the penalties thus far aren't enough.
